About Me

·  👋 I’m Steph — a storyteller and mentor who’s walked through fear, found grace, and now helps others do the same.

·  My journey began in a rigid faith and has led me into a life of healing, love, and connection.

·  I’ve lived many paths, but the thread through them all has been this: a deep desire to listen, to grow, and to walk with others in compassion.

I grew up in a rigid, fundamentalist religion that shaped much of how I saw myself and the world. For years, I carried fear, anxiety, and a sense of never being enough. But as I’ve walked through my own healing, I’ve slowly found love, grace, and freedom — learning how to see myself and others with more compassion.

My path hasn’t been a straight line. I’ve explored many careers and studied a little psychology, a little philosophy, and a lot of personal growth and spirituality. Each step, even the detours, has shaped the way I listen, the way I ask questions, and the way I hold space for others.

Today, I see myself as a bridge worker, storyteller, and mentor. I believe in the power of nuance, in the importance of grace, and in the beauty of connection. Through my podcasts, speaking, mentoring, and writing, I create spaces where people feel safe to be human — to explore, to heal, and to grow.

In 2016, I became certified as a coach and speaker with the John Maxwell Team. But more than any title or certification, it’s my lived experience and my ongoing journey that fuel my heart for this work. My hope is to keep offering encouragement, perspective, and connection — so that together, we can grow into stronger, kinder, more compassionate communities.

My Mission

My mission is to help you know that you are not alone. And that you are unique and that you matter. And whatever happened in your past does not define you and your future.

It's easy to feel like our experiences and our thoughts and beliefs don't matter; that we are alone in what we think and see and feel. The world can be overwhelming with the constant stream of opinions, advice and noise. Everywhere we turn, someone is telling us what to do, how to think and who to be. And we can feel like no one understands or listens to us. And we can also feel like things are hopeless.

I want you to know that is not true. Whatever you've experienced and feel matters.  That is your story and makes you who you are. And it can create the most beautiful and hope-filled future if you let it.
